Ross High Rugby
Congratulations to all the rugby players at Ross High School. Because of your hard work the school has achieved Gold Status with the Scottish Rugby Union as a Champion Rugby School. Well done all.
The Ross HS Rugby teams were involved in a rugby tour to Manchester during the Easter holidays. With visits to Old Trafford, Alton Towers and the Trafford Centre and two rugby match for each team, it wa sa fun filled four day trip. Both the Under 14s and Under 15's defeated their Wilmslow RFC and Sedgley Park RFC oppositions. The Under 18's were defeated by an extremely strong Wilmslow RFC team on Friday evening, but defeated Sedgley Park RFC on the Sunday morning. Five victories out of six, a tremendous result for Scottish sides in Englandshire.
Athletics We are all now looking forward to the Ross High School Athletics Championships.
In recognition of the Olympics, each house will adopt a country.
Wednesday 6th June - S1 & S3 Heats Thursday 7th June S2 & Senior Heats Friday 8th June - Whole School Finals, including a tug or war competition and BBQ!
Ross HS will then its squad of Athlets to the East Lothian Championships at the NEW running track at Meadowmill on Thursday 14th June.
Senior Boys lift East Lothian Schools Football Cup.
